Misfortunes of Smart Wifi and Smart Bro Customers
Been contemplating since i am used to using wi-fi (really high speed) from where i came from that hooking up with Smart BRO is a good move. Ever since I am coming back and forth the country I am used to buy an internet card and hook up with my phoneline and I never had problem – speed wise though it’s really slow and internet phone quality is not good, so when I chanced upon the ad of Smart BRO I have been thinking (since 1 week now) that I will subscribe… after reading some comments I am having second thoughts.
Can anyone tell me if I am digging my own grave in bills and headaches if i subscribe now???
Thanks

haha DON’T. don’t be carried away by their false advertisements. we applied for a SmartBro, after we paid the initial fees, they just don’t care anymore about setting it up. the deployment guys didn’t show up!!!! my sister had to be absent from school and waited for them until 8pm. we’ve been calling their hotline since morning, and their answers where either, to just wait, they’re on their way, they’ll text or call us when they’re on their way, etc. we got no text or call, baka naubusan ng load or ewan. so please, don’t be stupid. this happened to my friend too, hindi pa talaga ako nadala ano. sa sobrang pangakong napapako ng mga SmartBro agents na yan, he decided to subscribe to destiny, he wasted P999 and time with SmartBro, but at least hindi sya nakatali sa ganoong klaseng service.
If you’re near to Smart cell site, go subscribe but if you dont, dont ever subscribe..
ask some friends or neighbors who has smartbro if they do not experience slow connection
also, try doing a survey on your area. is there a smart cell site nearby? if there is, where is it located? are there any obstacles along the line of sight of the cell site? are you located in an elevated area? these factors may affect the quality of your connection if you’re going to apply for a smartbro account
so far after the upgrade/update, pumapalo ng 40KB/s to 55KB/s yung DL rate, ngayon pansin ko nag-upgrade ata Smart sa systems nila? since I recently topped 170KB/s DL and 160KB/s UP.
also ayus din yung Rebate sa billing. ^_^
thanks sa replies… i asked my friend who have a cafe around she said it’s slow and we’re in a hilly part of Laguna and depending on where the antenna/site is located i wouldn’t know di ba kung okay ba or hindi… actually i won’t go bother myself with the research, i made up my mind i will stick to my dial up anyway i don’t need to be online all the time and i am an owl so at night and early morning the speed is quite okay for my need.
goodluck sa inyo and enjoy!
