I need Technical Support on my Smart Bro/Wifi Internet Connection… The Connection of my Internet is not stable “Broken Internet Connection”, nawawala internet connection every 1 minute to 2 minutes then refresh, for browsing and online gaming…

“In a $1 million settlement, Verizon is reimbursing customers who had their broadband service disconnected.
Verizon has agreed to pay US$1 million to settle an investigation of the company’s alleged deceptive marketing practices conducted by the New York Attorney General’s office.
The settlement, which was announced Wednesday by New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, requires Verizon to reimburse $1 million to customers that the attorney general contends wrongfully had their broadband service disconnected. Verizon must also halt the “deceptive marketing” of its broadband services, Cuomo said.
At the heart of the attorney general’s investigation were Verizon’s advertisements that promised consumers “unlimited” broadband for its NationalAccess and BroadbandAccess services. A nine-month investigation by the attorney general found, however, that both plans were anything but unlimited.
In particular, the attorney general noted that the terms of service for Verizon’s “unlimited” actually barred users from performing such high-bandwidth activities as downloading movies or playing video games online. When users were deemed to be “excessively using” their services, the attorney general said, they were cut off from service and unable to obtain refunds. The attorney general also said that these restrictions on high usage were not “clearly and explicitly disclosed” to customers.
Jim Gerace, Verizon’s vice president of corporate communications, posted a message on the company’s public policy blog saying that Verizon had voluntarily agreed to change the language it uses to market both NationalAccess and BroadbandAccess. To demonstrate how the company’s marketing has changed, Gerace posted a link to one of its older ads, which promised consumers “unlimited broadband access” for Internet browsing, e-mail and Internet access. The newer ad, by contrast, promises only “broadband access” for those services.
“We are pleased to have cooperated with the New York Attorney General, and to have voluntarily reached this agreement,” said the company in a statement. “At Verizon Wireless, we are committed to providing clear advertising for our products and services, and we began updating advertising for our NationalAccess and BroadbandAccess data plans earlier this spring.”

hay naku i’m experiencing the same behavior since Nov. 8, at syempre pa tumawag ako sa customer service (ref: 191476207). They said my antenna is indeed sending a bad signal, that they have to escalate this to their higher technical support. The scenario would be for me to wait for 24hrs to resolve this issue, tatawag daw ang technical support kapag may issue pa and if no calls were received it means resolved na. Syempre pa ala tayong magagawa kung maghintay. After 24hrs. naging ok naman gumanda pero mabagal pa rin.
Come Nov 26 lumala ang connection ko, puro timed out na ang nakukuha ko sa PING command. So, tawag ulit (the sad part here is I’m using a handyphone from a different provider) grabe tagal maka-connect sa customer service, then once may customer rep na kailangan na naman mag-antay for their troubleshooting kahit na sinabi ko na ung history ng problem ko na this is the second time na nangyari. Syempre pa kailangan ko mag-antay, and once again they end up saying my antenna is sending a bad signal and I have to wait for 24hrs for their higher technical support to resolve the issue or they will call me up for further testing at kung hindi papapuntahan na raw nila (ref: 193954665). After a day, I still have a bad signal and received no calls from this so called HIGHER TECHNICAL SUPPORT (sobra yatang HIGH naman yata ng mga ito at di makatawag… tsk tsk…) 2nd day na ala pa rin tumatawag sa akin, so i end up calling these guys (again using my handyphone — no choice eh) experiencing the long wait and all. Finally may sumagot na “JOSH” (customer rep) pede daw magwait ako habang binabasa nya ung issue ko 2 -4 mins daw… ako naman syempre wait pa rin. Then he told me the same old thing (kung hindi lang nag-iiba ng boses ang mga kausap ko iisipin ko na recording sya promise!). Sabi nya according to the report they monitored it for a day and resulted a better connection. HELLO lang tatawag ba ako kung ala ng issue, would I waste my money and time calling these guys kung ok na?
Then he gave me the ever famous line can you hold for another 2-4mins for him to coordinate the call with their HIGHER TECHNICAL SUPPORT. Then I told him my situation that I am using a handyphone from a different service provider, wasting time, money and I am really pushing for a rebate. Aba hindi ko alam if he is on drugs or what, biruin mo sabihan ako ng ayusin muna ang connection bago ang rebates!!! I’m totally FINE with that, that is kung inaayos nila, that is kung pinapuputahan na nila sa field engineers nila… At sabi pa ala ba kayong smart phone or landline na pedeng gamitin… Well, my dear its a simple logic na kung meron di sana yun na ginamit ko… well, I end up giving my cell number demanding for the SO CALLED higher technical support to give me a call and assist me on this.
Paalala lang po, SERVICE at ACCESS ang binabayaran namin dito hindi sakit ng ulo … we are using this connection for our work, our love ones, and knowledge and we are paying HARD EARNED MONEY kaya naman sana suklian nyo rin kami ng REAL KIND OF SERVICE wag yung half-baked.

putanginang smart yan… wala na ako masabi… nasabi nyo na lahat!!!… bunutin nyo na antenna ko at ipupukpok ko sa mga ulo nyo itong tubo, makabawi man lang ako sa perwisyo at walang kwentang serbisyo nyo! ina nyo!
experiencing same problem here, pero nagdecide na ako na pag may pumunta at di na naayos on the spot, papaputol ko na yung subscription ko and pagagawan ko ng recommendation yung pupuntang techsupport.
wahaha.. pareho kami ni vdevera.. for several months ko na and problema ko… yung palaging timeout.. this past month tumatawag ako sa kanila trice a week cguro kasi ang sabi puro monitor within 24 hrs.. eh months na ako nag susuffer ng taeng timeouts! ngayon naging ok na for the second time (2 separate days) if babalik pa sa dati tong connection ko bukas, god knows what ill do

tama ka dith, putang ina nila lahat na ata ng tao dito na may smartbro connection na hindi nakapag bayad ng bills eh didimanda nila. Ang mga walang hiyang collection agency naman nyan gusto nila kumita ng percentage of collection sa subscriber sa mga masisingil nila, pero ang mismong client nila di nila tinitignan kung ano ang mga problem and lapses kaya ayaw mag bayad ang mga subscriber dahil sa unfair service ng smartbrag..

minsan nga if my connection ako, kakalog in ko lang and din within 15mins to 30mins nag tatimeout na, and patuloy na ala na talaga connection, (connection host unreachable) na! eh un lng my connection is limited or no conectivity…
eh pano na ung ginagawa ko, d na matatapos tapos.. d nga makapag paalam sa kausap sa net…
hay…. pano ba malulutas tong problemang to,,, ramaing bisis na akong tomawag, tinatamad na ako… at ang hirap pang kontakin ahhh… at pag sasagot, sabi naman imomonitor ko lang..

bullshit 2ng smartbro plaging nag ta timeout ung download speed ko nasa 15kb lang ano ba 2 guys dapat disconnect na natin 2 buti pa globe wireless aabot ng 1mbps ung download nila sa bundle 512kbps…
same here, d na stable ang smart bro ko, kapag may dinadownload ako, its either failed or corrupt, kc nawawala sya after 15 minutes then bumabalik naman at ako naman si tanga mag dodownload, then un failed ulit, unidentified connection na naman ang lumalabas sa network, tang ina talagang smart bro yan, nakakainis na, ang ganda ganda ng commercial but their service is crap, sa umpisa lang maganda then after 3 months and so on nagloloko na, mga gago talaga!!!magaling lang sila sa mga bagong customer…sana pasabugin ng milf ang mga cell site nila…

ok ung connection ko with in 7 months kc lapit lng cell site sa amin ngaun bigla lng ng loko ung connection ko ewan kung anung dahilan..prang dahil sguro sa promo(unlimted 10) nila ngaun baka busy ung line nila >.<
Putang ina kayo lahat! smart dn ako pero hnd ako namumrublema sa connection. may 10 seater net cafe ako at ok ang connection sa bawat comp! mga puta kayo!
