Technical Questions: Transferring SmartBro Connection to a new PC

    I just bought a new computer with a Vista Premium OS. Thing is, I want to transfer my SmartBro connection to the new pc from my old one with a WindowsXP Professional OS. Ang problema, ayaw naman maconnect sa Internet pag nilipat ko dun. I dunno if I did anything wrong, pero when I try to connect, ganito lagi ang lumalabas:

    Error 815: The broadband network connection could not be established on your computer because the remote server is not responding. This could be caused by an invalid value for the 'Service Name' field for this connection.

    So ayun. Hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa rin sha nalilipat. What can I do? :cry: Ayaw ko nmn shang ishare kase mas babagal p ung connection neto. I hope somebody can help me. Thanks!

    Actually ginawa ko na din yan and ung ngyari was na redirect ako sa SmartBro Portal.

    hi nullstring. i got over the problem by going over these steps:

    1. Go to Control Panel -- > Network Connections

    2. Select the LAN you are using and right click to Properties.

    3. In the General tab, click the Configure button beside the Connect Using box.

    4. In the Advanced Tab, click network address and enter your network address at the Value box.

    Your network address should be given to you by the person who installed your Internet connection.
