As subscriber, we must have documents signed prior to application of smartbro. sa tingin ko naman wala, meron ba sa inyo?
Di ba kayo nagtataka Smart Gold subcriber– they filter the applicants. baki kaya dito sa smartbro, hindi. basta process ka lang don sa cashier, wait for 2-3 days to have your internet connection.
Sa akin, the next day kabit agad….
Regarding the application…… sa tingin ko lang wala talagang formal agreement with this from smart to its subscriber…….. ano ba pinagkaiba na Smart Gold subscriber sa atin…. we are both postpaid subscriber of a certain service.
To cut it short….. wala habol ang smart kung di man tayo magbayad ng bill…
Tapos me new service offer ang ibang network…… cheaper pa at me phoneline….
Regarding don sa bill, Disconnection– states that at least one bill payment is missed. yeah! totoo, you’ll lost your connection after few days of your due date once you missed paying.
But to tell you guys, its very easy to reconfigure and get a new IP…… after few minutes you can continue your browsing…
Tapos isa pa guys….. this is a networking connection… thats why some of us shares the same IP. thats irony kasi as third world country… large% of the IP owned and assigned only to US and some countries… kaya patok ang networking…..
Basta….. once you are discontented with the service, don’t pay your bill… you’re just letting them fool you.

@ dlanfreires– I hope u can help me reconfigure my connection kc minsan nawawalan sya ng default gateway tapos paulit ulit lang naman ung sasabihin ng customer service. twice nang pumunta yung mga technician dito but still ganun pa din.it would help me alot para di na ako tawag ng tawag sa mga rep na parepareho lang ang sinasabi pati ung quick fix nila na software wala namang nagagawa tsk!

If they cut you off it means you are disconnected, so you can tell them that since they disconnected you you don’t have to pay a disconnection fee anymore… right?

I already made that kc nga poor ‘yong signal na nakukuha ko tpos pinapuntahan kuno sa “field engineer” d naman naayos. Tumawag uli ako kc nga poor prin ung nakukuha ko, haaayyy!!ganun prin.Di ko n nga binayaran ‘yong next month bill ko, ano cla sinuswerte? hehehehe. Kaso andito pa ‘yong antenna nila. Tinatawgan ako ng tech support di ko cla sinsagot , ganun nmn din ung gagawin eh, panget prin ‘yong connection ko. HELP naman! Panoh ba toh i-configure pra magkaroon uli me connection.BUNDLE prin ako ng one year contract….waaaaaaa!!!!

PLDT lang. eh yung phone line namen sa mom ko naka pangalan, kung anu anong docs ang hinhingi para makapag apply ako ng DSL. hhaaayyyy… kaya ayun, nag smart bro nalang ako kasi ambilis nila mag kabit. btw, baka pwede moko turuan kung apno i reconfigure ang connection…

the problem is my second job relies on internet connection. if i dont pay the bill then i have to deal with getting internet from another provider which will take awhile and then only to find out that they also offer the same stinking services. slow internet and non responsive customer service. bad trip talaga. i never experienced anything like this when i was living abroad. i do not understand why i cant have the same service as when i was there. nagbabayad naman ako. matatalino naman ang pinoy. so ano ang pagkaiba? tingin ko ang pagkaiba ay ang gobyerno dito walang paki sa consumers .. so mga businesses naman nagaabuso sa mga consumers.

I was planning na gawin yung sinabi mo na wag magbayad ng bill para sila na mismo mag disconnect ng line.. kaso worried ako about their CONTRACT na one year.. di ko kasi sure if it applies only for those who’ll request for diconnection within one year or pati sa mga di makakabayad at mapuputulan ng line within one year after subscription.
Any idea regarding this matter.. for sure everyone here would appreciate it — kasi most of us gusto ng umalis sa smart bro but of course takot baka ma SUE if we take any illegal actions.

Master ronald cruz (dlanfreires@gmail.com) replied regarding our inquiries on how to reconfigure our antenna but he said “cnxa tlaga! i cant help you with your queries baka ano lang mgawa ko! hehehehe” uhhmm okie lang, hehehe. Anyway the point is stil the Smart Broadband Guys know what to do to improve our connection, so I just called them 2 weeks ago and fortunately they fixed it, naku! ang ganda ng connection ko ngaun hehe. swabe sa downloading at video streaming, dahil sa tuwa ko, pina-inom ko ng juice ‘yong mga field engineers nila khit tumatanggi hehehe. So, just call their hotline then try to extend your patience lng kc un din lng ung ginawa ko pra maayos ‘yong pesteng connection ko “DATI”,hehehe , pro ‘yong pagpapainom ng juice bahala n ku dun,hehhe tubig nlng pwede na,hehhe ,so ngaun OK n sya talga!!!

Nagpunta ako sa smartcenter sa SM fairview pero ang sabi eh naka-off line kuno sila kaya di’ nila mahaharap iyong problema ko pero ang nakakapagtaka eh pagka mag-aapply ka palang aasikasuhin ka nila pero pag-ka problema na pala eh ni di’ ka nila manlamang bibigyan ng pagkakataon na makausap ka ng maayos, tsk, tsk, tsk! Kawawa naman kami! Mabuti pa sa bayan tel (dsl) ang balita ko eh pag-di’ sumipot sa takdang araw yong taga-ayos nila eh may rebate na 500 pesos. Wala pa akong isang linggo na nakabitan pero sangkaterba na ang problema ko dito sa linsyak na smartbro na to’!
Di’ kaya nababasa itong sangkaterbang reklamo ng kinauukulan sa Smartbro? Sana umaksyon naman sila!

can you tell us what are the possible consequences kung hindi ko na babayaran latest bill ko…i mean di ba madami ang sbi-sbi na wala naman nakukulong sa utang, lalo na itong smartbro na ‘to na hindi ko naman talaga napakinabangan dahil sa sobrang panget at nakakainis na serbisyo nila….they don’t even provide a copy of your contract, simpleng phamplet lang na application form ang na-accomplish mo then receipt tapos yun na yun!

actually, yung hindi pag sign ng application form, totoo yun, some third party agent called me up that I need to fill up a form eh, that time i do not have the time.. so, sabi nya xa nalang daw bahala.. in otherwords, wala talaga akong pinirmahan… the next day, kabit agad.. i am one of the discontented users of smart. IP SHARING? totoo rin yun, gulat ako ng, nag pop up yung mga computers sa NETWORK Neighboorhood sa computer ko…. sa isang internet cafe pala yun, nakaka browse ako sa mga shared drives and folders nila and the sad thing! VICE VERSA! eh, naka network pa naman computer ko dito sa bahay, kaya.. malas ko kung ano ang na browse ng ibang user sa pc ko…

About this DNS server 203.87.128.4 patay na yan.. marami ng bagong DNS. Advised lang sa mga bro users ingat sa spyware at viruses and always scan your computers. yung spyware hindi naman basta basta nadedetect ng simpleng anti virus yan…mapapansin nyo nalang bumabagal internet connetion pero pwede nyo pa check sa hotline kung ok yung antenna parameters ang BTS stats nyo…. senxa na ulit

hello po patulong po may problem po ako sa smartbro mabilis ang browsing at uploading pero di po ako makadownload. NAgpunta na po dito mga techs ng smartbroken pero di pa rin nila naayos. Hintay daw kami 1 week baka daw tower nila ang may sira.

sa putol putol ang connection. request nyo to change your antenna canopy. and set ng tama ng allign kung saan nakalagay ang kanilang tower. kc we experience that before almost daily walang signal. we request to change the canopy antenna at nilipat ng lugar kung saan nakaerect ung canopy.
and its true to change your canopy color if u experienced low speed.
and ang magandang signal dapat ang power level -85 below.
and kukuha kau ng color code hindi doon sa magkatabi na halos magkadikit ang power level e.g. -85 and -80. mas mababa mas maganda.

My one year locked-up period will be this coming October. I’m so discontended and disgusted with the service of this SMARTBRO. Actually I even paid installation fee when I applied for connection. I’ve known to other subscriber that the installation is free. I called SMARTBRO center and informed them that I paid the installation fee. They said that will investigate this matter and inform me soon about the development of my complaint. Its already six months from the time I called them but as to my dismay I received no responsed from them. Hi can you please give me an advice. Pinilit ko tapusin ang 1 year lock in period nila. After 2 mons. kasi discontented na talaga ko so di ko na pinansin ang billing nila and nagpalagay na ko bago connection w/c is better talaga. Afeter 1 month may billing na dumating, sabi ko diba yung babayaran ko lang is yung time na may connection ako, so sabi ng customer service nila ok daw, then talagang la na ko plan to pay they send another and another until umabot sa 6k without a connection. Tumawag ako sa kanila and ask bakit ganun babayaran ko ang moths na di ko naman nagamit ang tawag daw dun grace period ano yun diba? grace period ba tawag dun eh daig pa nila 5/6. hi!, yung sa mga gusto gawing 100mbps from 10mbps ung speed, iaccess nyo yung canopy site nyo (kung d nyo alam mgsearch na lang kayo sa net) taz ung sa configuration settings gwin nyong 10/100 ung 10/10 na nkalagay jan (makikita nyo agad un sa configuration settings)taz save changes then reboot. Pero as i’ve noticed, la naman pgbabago.
Pcnxa na po qng hndi maxado detailed…
BTW, one thing na gusto kong malaman nyo, lahat kasi ginawa ko na to improve my speed, (proxy settings, tweaking canopy, accelerators, etc) pero la naman nangyayari, ganun na talaga ang smartbro hnggang dyan na lang yan.. Better switch na lang sa ibang ISP.

Do the following procedure.
To Change the IP Address of a Cisco Unity Server Without Failover
Step 1 On the Cisco Unity server, on the Windows Start menu, click Settings > Control Panel > Network and Dial-Up Connections > Local Area Connection.
Step 2 Click Properties.
Step 3 In the Components Checked Are Used by This Connection list, select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), but do not uncheck the check box.
Step 4 Click Properties.
Step 5 In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog box, change values as applicable. Refer to Windows Help for more information.
Step 6 Click OK to close the Internet Protocol TCP/IP Properties dialog box.

Yan talaga smart. Sobrang nakakainis na. Wala silang care sa mga customer nila. Una, un smartbro… umpisa pa lang ng gamit ok naman, pero ng kinatagalan dami na nagsulputang mga keyso keyso mga registration registration na nakakaubos lang ng load. Mangungupit pa sila. yup totoo dami nyo consumer, kami ang nagpapayaman sa inyo pero ayusin nyo naman ang serbisyo nyo. Dito nga sa bicol as in whole bicol area may signal pero di makasend ng msg. di makareceive, di makatawag.. Ito ba ang another paraan nyo ng pangungupit sa mga consumer nyo na minsan nagtiwala sa mga services nyo. Wala kayong kwenta!!!

Hello, Can anyone advice me please! I want to terminate na kc my contract with smart bro, lagi na lng akong nawawalan ng connection, 3 months plang me nakasubscribe and I’m experiencing lots of problems na. Gusto ko lumipat sa ibang provider, but how about the 2400 termination fee na cnasabi nila, I didn’t sign any contract with them that states the contract will be one year, and I’m not sure if anyone of you does. My job depends on the internet, and this past week malaki nawawala sakin because of their terrible connection. Do you think may habol cla sakin pag dna me magbabayad ng bill until they will disconnect me? And if I won’t pay the termination fee? Help, Headache lng binibigay sakin ng smart, almost everyday ako tumatawag sa kanila and ang sagot lng “sorry mam”, as if their sorry can do something, and every time they are having technical enhancement daw, wala namang pagbabago, ganun pa rin, you know what, I think they have lots of subscribers na kaya lagi na lng may problem sa base station nila. Seems like we got a lot of issues going on regarding this smart internet service. In my case, I don’t mind paying P1000.00 every month as long as I have connection but just lately, I started experiencing poor signal, system will tell you there is connection but pages wont load up(even their own website is not loading up). I already contacted smart regarding this and they gave me turn around time as they mentioned that this issue is being worked on.
I can cancel my contract with them without paying the early termination if the reason is poor connection or no connection at all.
