Logmein Hamachi™ works for VPN needs and Logmein Free™ works for Remote Desktop. The reason why they work even when both servers and clients are behind a firewall/NAT is that the program itself (the one that you install on your machine) is configured to connect to a central server hosted by Logmein, and they are the ones who figures out which connection request goes to whom.

those who want to remote controll their machines should have a static IP, you can apply it but not on smart bro, if you really like smartbro, or nothning else is available, you can use teamviewer. as long as the two pcs have internet connection, no problemo…

I’m also experiencing the same problem, my VPN server is using a PLDT connection, when I tried to connect using smart bro, the connection drops on authentication, any solution for this??? please email me at darnzki@gmail.com for any solution. tnx in advance…

Im also expiencing the same problem guys, need ko mag remote access/desktop coz im always assigned in different places. Nung nag try ko i remote yung pc ko di ako maka connect.

Sa PLDT DSL ba pwede ka mag assign ng public IP mo? para pwede ka mag remote? Im planning on switching ISP Provider since malapit na matapos lock in period ko sa kanila..

hey guys i am new with smartbro. kabibili ko lang nito and nagkaka problem din ako sa connection with VPN/PPTP connection. bakit ayaw mag connect??? nabasa ko na pede ung LetMEin Hamachi pero i tried it ayaw din gumana. please anyone can help me with this. i readly need to connect using our VPN/PPTP connection. i am using now smartbro prepaid kit..
