Guess what… Simula ng nagpakabit ako buwan buwan may problema ako. Sloww
connection.. paputol putol na connection… no connection… bayad naman ako
ng bayad… wala lang talagang ibang option ng connection dito sa amin e. kung
meron lang ginawa ko ng flag pole na may malaking flag ng smartBROKEN logo sa
Highblood e.
Ilang araw na akong tawag ng tawag.. umaga at gabi.. Sorry sir, this base
station is under monitoring… sorry sir, i’m going to forward this to blah
blah blah.. sorry sir pkimonitor lng connection nyo until this afternoon..
pakimonitor within 24 hours… may maintenance activity sa base station… e
anong petsa na??? sorry sir for the inconvenience… sorry.. sorry sorry..

well… to be fair… maganda naman ang connection pag meron… minsan 256 -
384 talaga ung speed minsan nga 400kbps pa nga e… pag timing pa naman na may
trabaho ka… apektado trabaho mo! yung website na ginawa ko para sa client ko
di ko na ma upload upload… pang 4 days na ko walang connection… ginawa ko
nag dial-up na lang ako… solve!
Wala ng ibang option dito e. Wala na na available ang Digitel at PLDT.. eto na
lang talaga ang connection ko. Ok na lang kesa wala.. para akong nagasawa ng
problema…. may masaya at masamang pagsasama… pag nagkaroon lng ang Digitel
at PLDT dito.. i didivorce ka na itong SmartBULOK…
payo ko lang sa mga nagpaplano magpakonek.. mag dial-up na lang kayo. kung may other DSL company like PLDT, Bayantel, etc. etc. ung na lang! kung
magpakonek man kayo problema nyo na yan.. swerte swertehan din naman. meron
din naman walang problema. ewan ko lang kung totoo nga.
ewan ko paano tayo mapapansin ng Smart.. ung mga advertising expenses nila na
milyon milyon gastusin na lang nila to improve the service.. mga satisfied
customers pa mag endorse sa kanila… kasi mas masamang advertisement sa
kanila ang unsatisfied customers… katulad ko.. halos lahat ng effor gusto ko
gawin para magising sila!

client ko e.
Hay naku! makapag almusal na nga.. at nag pa prepare ako ng garlic rice na
maraming garlic para bawas high blood… PEACE BRO.. PEACE SMART… ayusin nyo
serbisyo nyo… mas maraming magagawang hindi maganda para sa inyo ang mga
taong galit at highblood na sa serbisyo nyo!!!!

I was about to subscribe to smart broken, but then my friend told me to read same blogs and forums about this. Then after reading all of this I finally decided not to go with my plan.

Well said my friend but its not that general. Do you know how many clients right now in smart broadband? Almost 80 000 + subs, and how many registers user here, 286 as of this writing. And hindi pa lahat bad trip sa connection kagaya mo.
Kung pumunta ka sa batanes, Jolo, basilan, at marami pang lugar, maraming pilipinong nakakagamit na nang internet dahil sa smartbro. Internet service na di naabot ng PLDT, Globe, etc. Mga kabataang pilipino, mga oridnaryong tao na nakakagamit ng internet dahil sa smart bro at natututo, nagiging computer literate and internet savvy.
Ill give you some example of internet speed in some part of our country like in Mindanao.

Now how come na masasabi ng karamihan d2 na bulok ang smartbro, eh pansarili nyo lang naman yung tinitignan nyo.
I really appreciate your complaints guys. I just want to gurantee you that smart is doing their best para maging stable ang connection.

Ei, help naman guys o! Kasi d ako makapasok sa mga websites except sa yahoomail. ok naman ymessenger ko. Pero ung ibang sites di ko ma open, ano bang dapat kong gawin? help naman me o, pls. tnx! tapos ang smartbro pa sobrang bagal, putol putol connection nila, nakakainis!

check mo kung naka-work offline yung browser mo… kung hindi, sorry, pero mag-tyaga ka na lang na tumawag sa customer service ng smartbro…

kailan ba nagreklamo ang mga satisfied clients? ang mga maiingay lang naman eh yung mga di satisfied…
totoo, may mga palpak na connections… pero meron din naman na ok yung connection, hindi lang na-meet yung expectation ng client…

well in the first place smart bro-ken is already oversubscribe in my opinion. they advertise 384Kbps speed but most of the time im lucky to have more than 56Kbps speed.
Question ko lang paano mo nakuha yan mga ping stats nayan if your just a regular subriber like us or your just a PR people of smart???
Its as if your justifying their lousy service. Ping stats doesnt really give you a good overall picture on how good or bad smart is treating their customers.
There’s only few people here because this site is not well known.
Well I think ladysail wants to emphasize the good side or the benefits of smartbro, having internet access throughout our archipelago, from Batanes though Jolo and not the good/bad connection of smart bro.
Indeed there is lapses, slow connection in “some’ (mostly 1%-2%) clients. But still, not in genral. I guess, smart is doing their best to isolate this problem. Perhaps all of you guys, having slow connection is this, your BTS where you are homed is full already in capacity. And this problem is already address on smart. They know which BTS is already congested and their on their way to add more bandwidth on the said BTS.
Why do I know this, because I have a friend on smart and he told me whats going on. And Im home at not congested BTS (few cliends home) right now, that’s why my connection is not bad.
In addition, I think smartbro adverstise that ur connection is “up to” 384kbps, this means that if one BTS has 50 clients or more, their sharing a bandwidth of guranteed 12Kbps “up to” 384kpbs pipe. This means that your internet speed is guranteed 12Kbps and it may burst or not burst to 384kbps, depending on the available bandwithd in the pipe. It also depends on your wireless link also. It also depends on 1st come, 1st serve basis on using the internet

Yeah thats the problem…they change it to “UP TO 384Kbps” But thats not what they told me when i applied for it, they told me my speed is 384Kbps…no “UP TO 384Kbps”..Kaya nga nag rebrand sila from SmartWifi to SmartBro para maisama yan “UP TO 384KBPS” besides..i know when to change my Base station so if my current base station is more than 20 i usually change it to another base station that is less than 5 people currently connected and its still so slowww…
“up to 7x faster than dial up” so meaning from 1-7x faster than dial up.. so pag ang speed ko is 56kbps lang ok lang.. kasi un naman promo ng smart eh.. ganun ba dapat un? sana pala di na smartBROadband tinawag nila kasi di naman for broadband speeds kung bababa ka pa sa 56kbps.. and oo nga maiingay lang ung mga di satisfied, well kung talaga nga naman kasing may mabuti kang masasabi sa smartbro sasabihin mo, la naman pumipigil eh.. pero mas marami lang talagang negative feedbacks sa smartbro.. pero kahit ganyan, umaasa pa rin naman ang mga tao na magiimprove ang smart.. by that time siguro naman dapat di na puro negative ung isisigaw ng mga tao.. dun lang natin mapapatunayan kung maganda na ba talaga ang smartbro..
halos na-iyak ako sa first call ko sa customer support last july 2005. first impression lasted lifetime…
Dati naka-Digitel DSL ako dito sa Tungko, Bulacan pero dahil wala na silbi yung phone (pangprobinsyang tawag lang, Metro Manila call is considered long distance) we decided to cut off yung landline, saka lahat naman kami sa bahay may celfon.
Ayun switch kami sa SmartBro-ken… kakapagtaka lang… first time na kabit ng smartbro mga Feb. this year halos napantayan nya sa performance yung Digitel, 200-390kbps lagi speed… yan ay mga isang buwan lang…
Pagdating ng March ayun simula na ang walanag-katapusang disconnections, activity sa base station, connected pero 1kbps speed…halos kumulo dugo ko sa katatawag sa “TECH SUPOT”! Aba bandang huli hindi na rin ako makapasok sa *1888 na yan! Binalocked na yata dalawang cell numbers ko! Tuwing tawag ko “your number cannot be completed at this time!”
After a while nagsawa ako sa kaka-complain, I started searching sa forums about feedbacks at sa halos 5 sites/blogs na napasyalan ko katakot-takot na mura inabot ng not-so-SMARTBRO-ken… Mga 90% ng feedbacks below negative zero…Isipin mo nga naman, nakalock ka sa 1 year contract sa isang non-existent na serbisyo…. Biro mo Php 988 x11 (1 month lang matinong service sakin) = 10,868 aba malaking pera magagatas nila mula sa akin! Multiply mo yan sa dami ng complainants! Ambilis pa nila magbill, kung napansinin nyo advance ng 1 month sa date yung bill. Bayad na bago e-deliver yung service (w/c is non-existent na eversince)…
Sa mga subscribers na di nakaka-experience ng ganitong bangungot - good for you. Pero hindi lang kami basta “unsatisfied” subscribers. Can’t you see, kami ay harap-harapang “ninanakawan”. We pay for a non-existent service. Pag di ka nagbayad…meron legal action na haharapin, kung willing ka umabot dun. At this point kahit 56kbps man lang ikatuwa ko na wag ko lang isipin na TAE naging kapalit ng pera ko!

I consider it a MIRACLE na nakapag-post ako dito. Kung alam nyo lang ilang oras ko inulit-ulit tyagain tong bwisit na koneksyon mai-post lang tong asar ko!

daming reklamo dito, dami pala natin, ngayon ko lang napansin. pero di ata natitinag ang punyetang smartbro na yan! punyeta, one month na akong intermittent, tapos, sa pag check nila everytime ako tatawag, ok daw??? parang sinampal ako ng “SHUT UP! WALA KA NAMANG PROBLEMA!” wat the fuck! kapal ng mga mukha ng mga hinayupak na yan, mga bobo naman! di maayos eh… pero yung punyetang bill, mabilis pa sa alas kwatro, nasa gate na! yung koneksyon, nakatulog na ako ng 3 oras, yung 3 mb na mp3 dinadownload ko, di pa tapos, nyahahaha… tangina nyo…
smart talaga kayo, naisahan nyo kami sa marketing strategy nyo… sana may congressman na makapansin nito para mapahinto na ang smart na to…

Madaming subscriber ang nakakaranas ng magandang connection kaysa sa wlang connection. It depends yan sa signal ng location. Try nyo ring ipacheck ung computer nyo!!! At wag kayong mgsabi ng bobo at mga stupido ung smartbro!!! kasi wlang taong bobo tamad lang..!!! Isa pa..nghuhusga kayo ng tao, hnd ninyo kilala yung sinsabihan nyo ng ganyang salita!!! bka may mas pinagaralan pa sa inyo!!! Hay, ewan ko sa inyo!!
