Misfortunes of Smart Wifi and Smart Bro Customers
I have requested a relocation of my Smartbro since Mar.17 but has not received any feedback until now (Mar.29).
I have called SmartBro customer hotline and according to them there was a called made to me last Mar.20 but the line is unattended (I’m also using a Smart phoneline). They checked the system but there was no other call after that. I was advised to follow-up the wireless center where I applied. However, during the application at the wireless center, I was advised to wait for a call or make a follow-up thru the hotline *1888.
Anyway, I tried calling wireless center at festival mall but there was no answer everytime. So, I’m stuck and don’t know what to do.

Well, I used to experience this. and just now. I filed for relocation last March 6 and until now, no feedbacks still. I don’t know what to do. Have been calling Customer Service also but all they can say is wait, and call us again if it’s not connected still. How come it is like that? I’m out of patience. I need my connection so much! Been looking around where to complain and found this blog.
Paid my p1800 for relocation on 9thMay2009 and to date, 25thMay, still no new connection. I call their “customer service” *1888 every day, they say ‘confirmed scheduled’ for next day every time but it never happens and no feedback, just lies to fob off the enquiry. I think they haven’t yet pulled out the antenna from the old address (coz my brother-in-law went there and yesterday it was still there) and that’s why they don’t want to do my new installation. Went to the wireless centre to cancel the subscription and they sent me to their cashier to pay up for every remaining month of the contract! I’ll just wait out the remaining 3 months and then send them packing.
i called the smartbro hotline ‘coz i need to transfer the utp cable to the room next to mine. To my surprise, they said I need to pay Php1450 just to transfer the cable to the other room. WTF! Its just around 2 meters away from the current location and I need to pay that much! Its just the same house! Also they said that if its us who will transfer the cable (I’m techie and I can actually do it on my own) we still have to pay around a thousand pesos! My goodness! I don’t think these people know what they’re saying. They been claiming that their service is best when in fact they don’t understand what it means. I hope SMARTBRO will soon lose clients. They SUCK BIGTIME!!!
I paid php1,450 for my relocation and it failed, it didn’t reach the required signal whatever.. Their technician told me that there’s no other choice but to close my acct though it’s still under the lock in period.. I need the connection so i applied for a pldt dsl plan.. So I was surprised when I received my bill for the current month!!!! I called their hotline asap and they told me to better visit a wireless center.. So i went to one and to no avail but they informed me to wait for their call.. after a week they called me and informed me that i still need to settle my balance, finish my contract and relocate it somewhere or pay the remaining 5 months!! because according to them it was stated in the relocation contract that i signed, when the relocation failed then it should be relocated to other place?? my fault was that i just read the agreement in passing knowing that there’s no possibility that the relocation will fail.. geessshhh! they’re stressing me out!! how i hate them!!
