First Method
1.) Go to Control Panel –> Network Connections. Hanapin mo yung connection ng SmartBRO Canopy, normally Local Area Connection.
2.) Once na nahanap mo na, right click the connection and select Properties.
3.) Under sa This connection uses the following items:, double-click yung Internet Protocol TCP/IP.
4.) Set your IP address to 169.254.3.3, and subnet mask to 255.255.0.0.
5.) Click OK, and close all windows.
6.) Open your internet browser, we prefer FireFox, and type in 169.254.1.1 sa address bar, this will take you to the Canopy MS.
Note: If this doesn’t work, probably your Canopy MS is blocked, or has been set to use a nonstandard IP address. This is where method two comes in.
Second Method
1.) Follow steps 1-3 from the first method.
2.) This time, set your IP address to 10.20.30.40, and subnet mask to 255.0.0.0
The following steps will help you identify your Canopy address, if ever nagbago na ung IP niya (hindi na 169.254.1.1).
3.) Open the ms-dos command prompt. (on your start menu, select run, and type ‘cmd’)
4.) Enter the following command: arp -a. It will display IP addresses connected to your network, look for the IP address beginning with 10 (10.xxx.xx.xx), this is your Canopy address. Note that i-disregard niyo lang ung ibang IP addresses, as wala naman tayong pag-gagamitan, and your Canopy address is not the one with 10.0.0.1.
5.) Close command prompt and open your web browser (use FireFox) and enter your Canopy address sa address bar (10.xxx.xx.xx).
So, that’s basically it. Napasok mo na yung Canopy page mo without any hassle. May nakausap akong technician once, sabi niya para makuha mo yung exact canopy address mo, akyatin mo bubong mo tapos tanggalin mo yung antenna, hanapin mo yung sticker, then convert the numbers into hexadecimals to get the IP. Now, to maximize your internet capability, go to the Canopy page –> Configuration –> Quality of Service QoS. Make sure na walang values set to 256, if ever meron, set that to 500.
Also, select Enabled dun sa Hi-Priority Channel.
Good luck! Kung maganda connection mo, this should take you way beyond your bandwidth capacity, like 500-750kbps. Make sure na jitters is below 5, and di aabot ng 1.5 miles yung air distance mo sa base station.

i’ve acidentally ENABLED my DHCP setings on my canopy page, now i can’t access the page anymore, is there any way to disable it again so that i can re-access the canopy page again? thanks..

Obtain a RJ-11, 6-pin connector and a small length of CAT 5 cable.
Pin-out all 6-pins according the following diagram and then short (i.e. solder) together
pins 4 and 6 on the other end. Remaining wires should not be connected to anything.
The following diagram shows the wiring of a default plug:
pin 1 white / orange
pin 2 white / green
pin 3 white / blue
pin 4 green solder to orange
pin 5 blue
pin 6 orange solder to green
Insert “default plug” in the GPS sync port of the module and apply power to the module
via its Ethernet cable.
When the module is booted up (power applied) it will be in default mode where the IP address will
be 169.254.1.1 and the passwords will be blank. All other configurations will have been preserved.\\\

i noticed na after ko na change yung ipv4 address, nawala ang internet connection ko..but i changed it back to automatic and bumalik din ang connection..

here’s how i do it…
1.nung na access nyo dati ung conopy…..
cross finger na nasa history pa ng firefox broser… if firefox gamit nyo sana… at di pa na erase ung mga links…
hanapin nyo na lang un sa mga naksave na history then dats it….
2.try gumamit lng router….. wag nyo na baguhin ung mga ip add then type nyo lang ulet ung 169.254.1.1

james ito solution ko para sayo. 1.5mbps is 2k sa digitel ^^ kung gusto mo pakabit ka nalang ng bagong net sa pldt or digitel. parehas lang may 1k plan mga un. doble pa sa speed ng SMARTBRO. Tsaka meron pa isa^^ namemeet ng PLDT at digitel ung sinsabi nilang speed. Yung option ng rougclaw. pede rin yan. kung mayaman ka. pede ka na pakabit ng 2 connection ng myDSL sa price ng isang aluminum planggana may pang max’s ka pang sukli. wag ka maniniwala kay think tank. eheheh they are just abusing our plight dami daming way out sa prob ng smart bro tol. di lang yang roughclaw

hi guyz,i tried to configure the canopy sa QoS 1000kbps ang allowed pero kelangan ang downlink+uplink=1000.so ginawa ko 600 ang downlink at 4oo ang uplink.at binago ko rin ung sa proxy using 8080.ngayon ung speed ko using 2wire speed test ay 680kbps.in fact 100miles ang lau ng tower sa antenna ko hehehe.try nyo rin baka gagana rin sa inyo

Hi guys..working pa ba yung pag tweak ng canopy? kaka migrate ko lang kasi from sendfar to canopy. layo kasi distance namin sa tower deadspot pag canopy gamit. kaya ginamitan ko ng reflector para gumana yung canopy. ngayon yung speed ko max 500 lang. ginawa ko na procedure sa taas pero di ko pa rin maacces.. patulong naman po sa mga may alam dyan.. e-mail ko knightlord222@yahoo.com.ph
yung powerlevel ko nga pala eh 56 tapos jitter 3. link test 100%, air distance 1.7miles.. sabi smart tech bagsak daw pag more than 1.5 miles yung air distance, kaso nga lang may reflector ako kaya napagana.. pa heeeeeeelp. yun kasing lokong technician nakita ko binago yung QoS yung dating value na 500 ginawang 256 lang..
IDK why, pero without tweaking my internet connection. constant ang internet speed ko sa 800kbps… bhra pumatak ng 700 or 600 kbps…

I even stream sa windows media center internet tv and miro ng desperate housewives kahit tanghali. walang slow downs…

Dude windows 7 din ako pero i still can’t access my canopy kasi nawawalan ng internet. Kelangan b ng internet pag access? sorry noob po dto. Tsaka ano nilagay mo sa Address Box para maaccess ung canopy page?
Ginawa ko yung Change tcpIPV4 na 10.20.30.40 then subnet mask na 255.0.0.0. then gnwa ko rin ung RUN ng CMD i just typed arp -a. my mga lumabas na ip’s starting 10.xxx.xx.xxx. pero ang di ko maintindihan. di lang isa ang lumabas na ip starting 10. and nung sinubukan ko ng iacess yung mga available ip’s starting sa 10. WTF??? hndi aking account yun. pero yung mga adress is dito lang mismo malapit samen. wala dun yung account ko sa mga ip’s na ngpopup. so pano to? anung icoconfig ko? patulong naman po.
TIPS:
kung luma na po canopy nyo pa ugrade nyo ng 9.0 baka po kc 8.1 pa version nyan… pag test po ng canopy type nyo po 169.254.1.1 then tignan nyo sa general dapat po ang power level -76 pataas then jitter is 3 pababa.. good canopy po is reading -40 to -60 power level. and one more yung uplink efficiency at downlink efficiency must be 100% pareho. pag nag 99% po yan pababa it means bagsak po yan sa standard at pwede nyo po pa replace yan canopy nyo..

Hello everyone. Nagawa ko na ung steps 1-2.. Na-change ko na ang IP address ko sa 10.20.30.40 tapos pag-type ko ng arp -a , ang lalabas na IP ay 10.255.255.255 at yun lang. Paano to? Ala ng ubang IP na nagstart sa 10. Please help me po. Bagal ng connection ko kasi.

How to Access your canopy and get the exact ip add of canopy
Una dapat naka direct sa pc mismo ang connection ng smartbro walang router dapat.
Punta ka sa command prompt then type arp -a
makikita mo ip address ng canopy then copy it
yung una example ay
10.249.212.139
basta 10 parati umpisa ng ip address ng canopy
2nd: punta ka sa tcp ip properties
put 10.20.30.40
subnet 255.0.0.0
3rd: open browser then put your ip address na nakuha mo sa arp-a
