2: After 24 hrs.. of waiting open your Internet Browser…! when nothing happens and if you are redirected to smart / meridian portal…. when they ask for your user id, account no., etc… fill it including your password…. after doing it… you will now redirect to smart bro… click reset connection… after reseting your connection… restart your pc or your hub!
3: Last tip… pagwala pa rin the only thing you can do is magpa disconnect ka na! …..?

If you are getting the 192.168.XXX.XXX ip address and you can ping the 192.168.224.1 gateway BUT your internet connection is NOT working, go to your browser and type in the http://www.meridiantelekoms.com URL it will then go to the SMART BRO portal and will ask for your username and password, then the usual security code stuffs…worked for me.
Go to network connections in your control panel (Windows XP) and and right click on Local Area Connection and click Disable. Unplug the power adapter of your Antenna and reboot. Plug the power back in and after 5 minutes right click Local Area connection again and click on Enable. If this doesn’t work call tech support.
Slow Connections
Try downloading CFOSSpeed from http://www.cfos.com/download/download_e.htm. It has only a 30-day trial period though. Using Download Accelerators such as Download Accelerator Plus, Getright etc.. can also help speed up HTTP downloads. If these doesn’t work call tech support.

I get the SMART portal screen, put in my username and password then another screen appears saying to wait as wireless link is being checked..and that’s it! nothing happens…the security code stuff don’t come up…problem has been the same for 3 days now…I will be talking to the SMART people again when I get home from work…i’m sure problem is on their side..they just don’t know how to fix it!

In the Philippines, the cost is $.159 per minute to call landline phones and $.199 per minute to call mobile phones. Wala bang ganyang offer ang smart at PLDT at lower cost than yahoo? Wala kasing landline dito sa lugar ko. That would really make you the PAMBANSANG BROADBAND.
