Misfortunes of Smart Wifi and Smart Bro Customers
Hey guys, i’ve been a subscriber of SmartBro since Sept 22, 2006. Everything went smoothly until after Milenyo hit. I haven’t been online for a little over a week now!! It’s crazy, i’m telling you, plus, i’m a web designer… so it really is a hassle! Anyway, i would like to know if any of you are from Mandaluyong (like me), and if you are also having difficulties having a connection. I live in San Francisco St. near Maysilo circle. Please lemme know… if you don’t have signal. I’ve been trying to get through their hotline, but its verrrry busy.

I’m not from Mandaluyong but I still have a problem with my “100Mbps” connection. It’s been a week and yung ibang kilala ko sa QC okay na daw. Fluxie, very true, I’ve been trying since Sunday na tumawag ng tumawag sa hotline nila, wala namang sumasagot, siguro naman yung 15 minutes per call na naghihintay ka sa line hindi na matatawag na impatient. I did try punching a diff. digit, to appear I’m asking about my bill eh may nag-pick up nga, she wasn’t able to help me din. Eh I just gambled that their CSAs are doing a centralized kind of job ba, yung sino unang available para mapasukan ng tawag (eh ganun kasi kami kahit maraming options, hahaha).
Anyway, it’s not as if I can barge to a Smart base station which happens to be situated less than 500 meters away from my house. Hassle talaga. I hope ma-remedy na ang dillema natin, Fluxie.
When you get to the voice prompt for SmartBro, don’t press 4 for technical support. They’ve configured their IVR to just let it ring probably coz they’ve got so many irate customers calling after the milenyo thingy. Press 1 (To apply for a SmartBRO connection) and you’ll see how fast an agent comes online!! (Sabi siguro nila, “Whoops, there goes another victim, hehehe”) They’re the same guys doing the technical support thing so go ahead and fire away with your complaint!! hehehe
ey judie ey daffy… i’m happy to say that i already am able to connect to the internet, nope, i wasn’t able to contact anyone from smart, but i did send them an email about my problem… it was a week of hell talaga, i’m just glad that its *over* for now… i have a feeling this could be temporary plus i really have no clue whether a tower was affected or whatever…

hmm i don’t know why you applied with smart.. pwede naman atang globe wired dsl atleast much stbler and faster than smart broken.. anyways baka nasira ang towers nila due to strong winds.. I’m glad na iswitch a better carrier, smart broken it one of the worst DSL in the metro (lousy tech service, slow to response when requesting for repairs; well PLDT nga naman ang may-ari so no wonder when comes to after sales..)
smart’s the only internet service allowed in my building.
FOR ALL THE PROBLEMS THAT UR PRODUCT GAVE ME,, NOW I KNOW WHAT UR TRYING TO PROVE SMART BROADBAND WIRELESS!!! THAT UR PRODUCT IS A PIECEOF S*@#!!!! U THANK GOD I DIDN’T POST THAT!! PLease!! make ur so caLLed “7x faster than dial-up” connection REAL and make it FUNCTION as what u’ve said “24-hour connection”,, FYI Smart Bro!! I’ve aLready paid an extension to my antenna,, and LuckiLy my connection got fixed from sept-oct,, btw,, i got subscribed to SBW just this,, i think JuLy,, and JULY FROM SEPT,, my connection is damn piece of THRASH!! ok i”LL be honest,, ur product gave me,, smooth connection just for 1 month,, but after that,, i don’t know what happened!! I’ve spend about 3 reformatting for my cpu,, assumming that the connection probLems came from my comp. but it wasn’t,, it came from ur MOST RELIABLE PRODUCT,, and not to mention the caLLs i made up to ur tech support,, they gave me useLess troubLeshooting,, that gave me super temporary resuLts,, and now!! I GET “AGAIN”,, intermittent connections,, FYI this is after the extension of my antenna,, this month of september,, and after aLmost a month,, or NOW!! Oct. 8, 06,, it came back to the normaL SMART BRO,, that’s S@#*!! 5mins connection-disconnection INTERVALS!! DONE.
I’m from taguig and up until now ala pa rin me connection. Hrap 2mawag sa smart.
how can i download Smart’s Quick Fix if I don’t have connection at home? Way to go SMART Bro!
