Misfortunes of Smart Wifi and Smart Bro Customers
Fellow customers, this is a call for us to demand proper service from Smart Bro/WiFi. Since a few weeks back I have decided to become more demanding and persistent in my demands from the customer service representatives. I suggest everyone else do the same.
Demand from them when the connection will be fixed.

Do not put the phone down until the give proper answers.
Do not care about their personnel. This is a simple case of fighting fire with fire. It has been very obvious that they do not care about their customers, then let’s not care about their employees. If the customer support is about to cry, then let them cry. I’m not saying swear at them (like a well spread phone call we might all have heard) but demand proper service.
If they can’t give answers, then look for someone who can give one. Ask them to contact that person. Do not let up until they give the proper answer. Who cares if you’re talking to the supervisor but you are not getting the proper answer? Demand it. Don’t hang it up until they say it. This will show if they do or do not have an answer at all. Let them say it. Hear it from them that their customer/system support do not know what they are doing so their mistakes will become apparent. Let them admit their defeat.
If you are put on hold, then let us wait. Show them our persistence that we want service. Let them search their precious resources for as long as they want, then show them that we will not falter in our resolve. If they come back after a long time without any answer, demand it again and say you are willing to wait longer.
It’s all in the name of justice. We are paying customers who want our service, and it’s not being given to us? Then let’s keep on bugging them, calling them, maybe shouting at them until they give it. Is it evil? No. It is their job to give us service, service that is to be rightfully given to us.
Justice and patience: let these be the guidelines to our cause.

I am one of those duped by this smart bro gimmick, you will see them in airport lounges, trade fairs, shopping malls and promoting the smart bro. if we are really irked by the slow slow connection( imagine my download speed is 489bytes BYTES tang ina talaga!!!!) that is if there is connectivity, then we can get back at these people by going to where they promote and vent out our anger and warn their potential customer how bad the service is. I mean they plan to do nationwide ( ive seen tarp posters in iloilo, bacolod, mindanao) and for what a service that you cant even use. mga putang ina talaga sila. if you want to get even you can do one of these ( and i have done this and it makes me feel so good knowing that i am also becoming an irritant to them bawi bawi lang)
1. go to where they promote and everytime a customer goes to their booth or they entertain a potential customer just air out, say it loud, your complaint, tell the customer the problems, pahiyain mo yung smartbro personnel so that they tell their management that we are fed up. I havent a seen a complaint or customer feedback for smart bro. The best lines are ” hay naku, laging walang signal at kung meron man e saksakan ng bagal!!! at walang nagagawa ang tech support nila to correct the problem.

my first time posting.. been reading some posts.. i try to understand ‘em but i get confused…
My lan speed had become 10mbps from 100mbps.. what cause this? anyway.. di kasi ako sanay tignan na 10mbps..

anyway.. people from smart came here.. i didn’t watch them configure coz i was studying for the finals.. but i saw from my browser that they’ve entered the default 169.254.1.1 .. i tried to access it but can’t be displayed.. i’ve tried configuring my ip address changing it to 169.254.1.1 and 169.254.1.2 .. and still nothing happened..
they didn’t go up the roof to fix the antenna.. they only configured through my laptop.. the last one that fixed my connection went up the roof.. i guess these ones were lazy. harhar.
I wanted my connection to be more faster.. but how could i if i can’t access canopy? Please help.
Oh and i’ve read about ung sa torrent?? pero di nakalagay sa nabasa ko kung pano.. can someone explain and teach me? or do you know any links para di na kayo mahirapan mag explain?> thanks

Anyone other than me experience a huge drop in dl speeds after the last typhoon? My dl speeds drop to 2-9 kbps. And it’s been like that since last wednesday. The speeds get back to “normal’ though somewere after 12 AM though. Btw, i’m from Montalban, Rizal. I just want to find out if other areas are also experiencing less than normal speeds.

Hindi na ba nahiya ang taga-Smart sa palpak nilang serbisyo? Dito sa Cogeo Village, Antipolo, Rizal before Thursday matino pa ang Smart “broadband”. Since then, however, lagapak ang serbisyo. Kuminsan mas mabilis pa ang dial-up. Ginawa ko na ang lahat ng suggestions na gawin sa Canopy, pero walang nag-bago. Walang kwenta talaga.
Lalo pang nakakainis ang mga bobo na tinatawag nilang “technical support”. Wala silang alam kundi “sir, irerefer pi namin sa higher technical support group.” Gusto namin nang sagot, hindi palusot! Tapos tatawagin niyo pa ang sarili niyo na “Pambansang Broadband”? Gagamitin niyo pa ang watawat ng Pilipinas para manloko ng tao? Mga gago kayo!

Now I realized that giving up my digiTel ADSL connection and shifting to smartbro is really the biggest mistake I ever made in my online business life. The connection is very slow they said 300+KBps connection but it seems slower than dial up. I am trying to backup the database of my site <a href=”http://www.katropa.com”>http://www.katropa.com</a> today and it’s now 8 hours since I started the back but still not even rich 50% of the download.
I check the speed of the download hell, what’s a mess the speed is 2.7kbps what is that? I am paying for 300+ KBps service monthly but I can’t get what I am paying for. I want to give up my smartbro but they want me to pay for the remaining month. Why subscriber need to pay the remaining month for termination, they are not providing the right service.

Recently i transfer a new place and i decided to relocate my Smartbro wireless internet too. when they install and configure my connection it seems to be working well, but when i go to Online games (skyblade) my connection is unstable looking on my ping 10.0.0.1 /192.168.224.1 (command prompt), i know that my connection have a problem coz the result sometimes give me a request time out!..i tried to call to the costumer service “Smartbro” they just said we can locate and resolve the problem if you can call us during the down time. unfortunately it doesn’t happen coz the down time take’s only about 5 minutes when u call the costumer service u’ll be put on hold about 20-30 minutes before some costumer service agent could attend to your concern. can anybody help me to resolve this kind of problem..? anything will do thnx!!!

Wifi has a lot of problems… until now. there was a time when i cant connect to the internet and i reported it to their technical staff, it took them one month… and im saying 1 MONTH to visit us, and let me tell you this…. they even asked me to pay the monthly fee! where in fact i didnt even use their services for a month, they even told us that they gonna temporarily cut the wifi… HAHAHAHA! anyway, recently, i called their toll free for technical services and it took me 6 hours to connect me to their technical staff… wooohoooo!!! quality service…! yeah i know you are SMART but i guess those things you do are not smart at all…. tsk tsk…. thumbs down
