		<description>I have been in SmartBro since 2005. But by July 2011, I noticed that the signal was dimming and our skype talk or google talk kept dropping, but we believe that it was just some technical problems. By the way, sometimes in April 2011, my wife told me that SmartBro is offering discounts and my account is qualified to receive, and all I have to do is to write a letter of authorization to my wife (as I am out of the country) to transact/approve or whatever legal actions to change/alter/stop/improve my Smart Bro account number especially on the Plan Rebate of P166.50/month which I am notified as qualified, BUT WITHOUT US KNOWING THAT SMARTBRO WILL EXTEND THE CONTRACT.

By September to October 2011, the signal became intolerable. So I decided to switch to a Telephone company. However, as of today December 30, 2011, a lady from SmartBro called the house and talked to my daughter and telling her that by January 2, 2012, a technician will come to the house to check the router and everything. The said lady told my daughter that we cannot just walk away with the contract until it is finished after two years. 

SmartBro must have already read my letter dated December 14, 2011 informing them that I am already done with their service and will now switch to a Telephone Company for my internet connection. I want to share my letter: 


Sir/Madam:

	I just learned that your office has extended my contract with your company without duly informing me on such an extension. I wrote a letter to you dated May 18, 2011 to follow your advice to authorize my wife, to make changes to my Account  so that I will be able to receive a Plan Rebate of P166.50 per month which I am notified as qualified. But my wife and I were not informed that such could extend the contract, which if I had known, I would surely decline writing such authorization because we prefer to stop the service for the following reasons:

1.	The constant interruption of the internet line that keep my family calling your office to fix the line.

2.	The long delay that took weeks of fixing the line that made us wait for the internet line.

3.	The long delayed waiting for the fix that never came in the months of October and November.

	In view of this, I’m writing your company again to formally request your services to stop with the hope and prayers that you understand our inconveniences. I also suggest that next time, please inform your customers if you are planning to extend their contract hence, the Plan for Rebate. 

My wife and daughter, however, felt threatened to the idea that they will take us to court should we continue to ignore them, as my wife recalled that she signed something but not knowing that it was a contract. You see how they deceived us? I keep calling their office, yet no live person can answer my call. I hope that everyone will band together to fight this unfair practice of the SmartBro. God bless us all.</description>
