May ilang buwan na rin naman akong gumagamit ng smart bro at hanggang ngayon di ko pa naman nararanasan ang mga problemang nababasa ko dito sa forum na ito. ngunit ndi dahil sa ganon eh sinasaluduhan ko na ang Smart, malaki pa rin ang utang nila sa mamamayang handa namang magbayad sa dapat ay de-kalidad na serbisyo.
Nais ko lamang sanang ibahagi sa mga mambabasa ang milagrong naranasan ko kahapon. nagkaproblema ata ang smart kahapon kaya ang bilis ng aking koneksyon ay hindi bumaba sa 2 MBPS umabot pa nga ng 5 MBPS ang koneksyon ko buong tanghali hanggang hapon kahapon. nagdali dali akong nagdownload ng kahit anong pwedeng idownolad para lang hindi mapalagpas ang naturang milagro. wala lang.

it happens because internet speed especially broadband is burstible, speed can go lower than 384 kbps or higher like what you experienced

I experienced that for an estimated of 3 days the speed was between 2 to 5 mbps
good thing for you. ive never experienced above 10kbps. mga taga san ba kyo? baka naman sa tuktok kayo ng tower nakatira kaya mabilis. subukan nhyo bumaba para maranasan nyo ang tunay na broadband na 2kbps/sec or lower. try lang!! tapos kwento nyo samin
yep.. smartBRO is subscribing (5mbps per cel site) internet connection from singapore.. it happens when their cel site computer becomes unstable.. unable to regulate the 384 kbps per subscriber.. thus giving you higher speeds depending on the number of ppl online in you area.. 5000kbps divide by 384kbps will give you around 13 subscribers per cel site.. more than that will result to lower speed.. but less than 13 subscribers wont give you more than 384kbps hehehe! unless their computer becomes unstable… in your case it could have been unstable, then there were less than 13 ppl online ir your area the time it occured =)
Yeah, actually, in my case, I did some accidental tweaks to my connection and before I knew it I was downloading at the average speed of 600-700kbps, and 900kbps+ max. But I did a change the terminal I used to surf the net (in other words, I changed my PC), because of that i had to go through the Wireless Portal again, and restart my router and PC. And after that my internet unfortunately went back to the average 40kbps download
. Makes me wish I hadn’t made the change.
BTW. My smart connections is the old 256kbps wifi plan.
tae pa rin ang smart… naging cartel kasi ang smart d2 sa pinas. Lahat ata na ka-compete nila e binili nila kaya la maxado ka-compete. No coice talaga ang people of the philippines.
anyone can post complete list of 3.5G signal here in mega manila or just manila alone before I buy my own smart bro, im just making sure that we have 3.5G signal in our area…thanks
