Aug 10, 2006 Author: textguru | Filed under: Wifi Information

Hi Guys,

I live somewhere in Cabuyao Laguna where no Telephone Lines installed. Options for communication is only mobile phone or a wireless phone system that Liberty Phone, and Digitel’s Mango CDMA. I am an internet savvy and I cant live without the net. I am looking to subscribe to SMART BRO but I am hesitant if the service is good in our place. I have seen antennas on our place but not sure if it is SMART BRO. Since this group is all about their service, I am hoping that some of you will respond or comment to my post.

Wi-Fi Q

Aug 7, 2006 Author: fistermucker | Filed under: Technical Advice

Hey people! I have question.

Is Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) available for use with Smartbro. You see, I’m a new subscriber and I’d like to know if I could use a router to connect my two daughters’ PCs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What can I say about Smart Bro

Aug 7, 2006 Author: maxximuss | Filed under: Customer Complaint

Well, for me, I’ve been using Smart Wifi broadband for a year and half but never encountered such as bad connections from the network nor the system.

I’m so disappointed about the bad blogs and bad forums they say about these services. Eversince I was connected to it never been had any problems about the services because I’m always connected and never been down to 286 kpbs when peak hours.

Sometimes I’m in the top of the world having 1.8 Mbps during night hours around 9 pm up to 5 am. Feeling so lucky because I have a T1 connections paying only at 998 a month.

So why should I be worry about the services of this company they absolutely awesome!!! More power to you SmartBro… God Bless you all.

Our Own Anti Smart Call Center Agent Script

Aug 7, 2006 Author: limnestor | Filed under: Customer Complaint

Since puro scripted ang sagot ng mga call center agents, pwede din tayong magkaroon ng sarili nating script to answer them in a uniform way:

During Troubleshooting Dialogue 1:

Agent: Pwede ba tayong mag conduct ng basic troubleshooting steps?
Customer: Ano ba to yung IPCONFIG /RELEASE at /RENEW at restart ng PC, at pag pull out ng power supply and other cables ng POE (ito yung may tatlong ilaw)?

Agent: Yes sir/mam!

Agent: Kailangan talaga nating gawin to sir/mam!
Customer: E nagawa ko na nga yan! Walang nangyari!

Customer: Sige (tapos kunwari gawin nyo pinapagawa)

During Troubleshooting Dialogue 2:

Customer: Pag nag ping ako sa www.yahoo.com at the www.google.com ang daming Request Timed Out.

Customer: Gago. E halos lahat ng sites hindi lang yahoo at google na pinuntahan ko ang babagal tapos pag nag ping ako puro request time out! Ibig mong sabihin lahat sila congested! Hindi kami tanga! Bakit sa opisina namin mabilis sila? Yung route nyo may problema mga tanga ayusin nyo yun!

Customer: Tanga!

Agent: Sorry try to monitor your connection in the next 24 hrs and call us back kung may problem pa rin.
Customer: Putsa ganito na lang ba palagi. Magsara na kayo!

(After a day pihado namang ganon pa rin connection. Don’t forget to call them every day to report the problem para makahingi kayo ng refund sa Smart. Call *1888 on your Smart cellphones then press 1 to ask for the discount!)

Kudos to Smart Bro

Aug 4, 2006 Author: flippyme | Filed under: Wifi Information

I’m extremely happy with the service now. But honestly, I’ve had problems with SMART Wi-fi as early as day 1 (end of January) but after almost 3 months of complaining and/or troubleshooting with them (relaunch into SMART BRO), naayos din sa wakas.

FYI: kahit malakas na hangin ng bagyo (Glenda and the one before that), walang pa rin interruption sa service nila. Galeng!

Area: Quezon City.
